In the 1980's, the airbags were first built into cars. At first, the airbags were only in the front but then airbags
were built to the sides. Some people think why do they need airbags when they have a seatbelt? Well the answer to that is
when you are in a fatal car crash you can still hit the steering wheel with your chest or head, which can cause severe damage.
You can also fly into the windshield, which is going to bust your brains out.
